Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 13 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of eLearn Egypt’s educational platform, accounts, Courses, and related services.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the platform, creating an account, purchasing a Course, or using platform services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Platform Role
eLearn Egypt provides educational technology and services that enable Teachers to publish educational Courses and Students to enroll in and access them. Course content and teaching are supplied by the relevant Teacher. The platform does not promise a particular educational outcome.
3. Account Responsibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, take responsibility for activity through your account, avoid improper credential sharing, and use the platform lawfully. Notify Support if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Student and Teacher Roles
An account may have a Student role, a Teacher role, or both where the platform supports that combination. Each role remains subject to the rules and responsibilities that apply to its use.
5. Teacher Responsibilities
Teachers are responsible for the educational content they submit or publish. Content must be lawful, and the Teacher must own it or have all permissions needed to use it. Teachers must not infringe intellectual property or other rights, and Course descriptions and information should be accurate.
Teachers are responsible for providing the educational delivery represented in the Course, scheduling Live Sessions where applicable, and reviewing or grading assessments where Teacher grading is required. Platform-controlled payment, commission, wallet, and accounting workflows remain governed by the platform’s rules.
6. Student Responsibilities
Students may use educational content only for authorized personal educational use. Students must not redistribute protected content, share accounts, bypass access controls, copy or distribute Course material without permission, misuse Enrollment Codes, or abuse assessments or other platform services.
7. Course States and Availability
A Course may be Published, Unlisted, or Archived under the platform workflow. A Course may also become expired after its End Date. Expiration is calculated from the End Date and is not a separate Course workflow state.
8. Course End Date
A Course may specify an End Date, and a Course containing Live Sessions must have an End Date. The Course remains available through its End Date and becomes expired after that date.
After expiration, the Course is removed from public Course discovery and search; new enrollment and new Course purchases are not accepted; and redeeming an Enrollment Code does not create a new enrollment. Existing valid enrolled Students retain their entitlement according to the platform’s normal enrollment and access rules. Course expiration is separate from Academic Year archival and does not by itself create an automatic refund.
9. Enrollment
Free Courses may activate enrollment according to platform rules. Paid Courses require successful payment or another valid enrollment mechanism supported by the platform. Access is governed by the platform’s canonical Course enrollment and access rules and is not guaranteed to continue indefinitely where Course or Academic Year lifecycle rules apply.
10. Enrollment Codes
Teachers may provide Course-specific Enrollment Codes. A valid code may be used once, is subject to its validity period or expiry, and must satisfy Course eligibility rules. Expired, used, cancelled, or invalid codes cannot grant enrollment. A Course that has ended cannot accept a code for a new enrollment.
11. Payments
Paid Course prices are shown in the platform currency. Payments may be handled by integrated third-party payment providers under their applicable terms. Enrollment is granted only when the platform’s confirmed payment and access rules are satisfied. A payment attempt may fail, remain pending, or require additional processing.
12. Refunds
Refund eligibility, where applicable, is handled according to the circumstances of the purchase, the platform policy applicable at the time, payment-provider limitations, and applicable law. The platform does not operate a universal automatic refund rule. Contact Support about payment disputes or refund requests.
13. Teacher Earnings
The platform may deduct the applicable platform commission from Course revenue according to the commission applicable to the Teacher and transaction. Teacher earnings may initially appear as Under Verification for the configured hold period and become available according to the platform’s financial workflow.
14. Teacher Wallet
The Teacher Wallet may contain available balance, earnings under verification, top-ups, and relevant refunds or adjustments. Only available and spendable balance may be used for applicable platform services or withdrawal. Under Verification earnings cannot be spent or withdrawn until released under platform rules.
15. Teacher Platform Services
Teacher-paid platform services, including additional storage and Enrollment Codes where available, are paid using available Teacher Wallet balance. External payment providers may be used to top up the Wallet. A single service purchase cannot combine partial Wallet payment with direct external payment.
16. Teacher Payouts
Eligible available Teacher balances may be withdrawn through supported payout methods, subject to sufficient available balance, complete payout information, platform validation and processing, and applicable restrictions. Processing time may vary, and settlement is not promised to be immediate.
17. Storage
Teachers receive a platform-defined free storage allowance. Additional storage may be purchased for the applicable Academic Year using Teacher Wallet balance. Storage allowances and pricing may be configured by the platform. Exceeding available quota may prevent new uploads but does not by itself mean that existing files will be automatically deleted.
18. Live Sessions
Some Courses include scheduled Live Sessions. Schedules may change where reasonably necessary. External meeting services may have separate terms. A Course End Date limits Live Session scheduling according to platform rules. Recordings are not promised unless a specific Course or external service expressly provides them.
19. Assessments
Courses may include quizzes, exams, or other assessments. Some questions may be graded automatically, while others require Teacher review. Scores and progression may be affected by the assessment rules that apply to the Course.
20. Reviews
Only eligible, verified Course Students may submit reviews according to platform rules. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and remain appropriate. The platform may moderate reviews under its moderation rules.
21. Support
Users may contact platform Support through the available support channels. Messages and attachments must be lawful, relevant, and safe. Support access does not make internal handling information public.
22. Intellectual Property
The platform software, design, and branding belong to the platform operator or the applicable rights holder. Teacher content remains subject to the ownership of the Teacher or other rights holder. By uploading educational content, the Teacher gives the platform the permission reasonably necessary to host, process, display, and deliver that content for operating the service.
Purchasing or enrolling in a Course gives the Student the permitted access described by the platform; it does not transfer ownership of Course content to the Student.
23. Prohibited Use
You must not attempt unauthorized access; bypass payment or access restrictions; improperly share accounts or codes; scrape protected educational content; distribute malware or attack security; submit unlawful or infringing content; impersonate others or commit fraud; abuse or harass others; manipulate reviews or assessments; or exploit platform, payment, or wallet systems.
24. Account Restriction or Suspension
The platform may reasonably restrict or suspend an account when necessary in response to serious Terms violations, suspected fraud or security threats, unlawful activity, protection of users or the platform, or legal requirements. Legitimate financial obligations and records continue to be handled under applicable platform rules and law.
25. Service Availability
The platform aims to provide reliable service, but availability may be affected by maintenance, Internet or network problems, third-party providers, technical failures, or events outside reasonable control. Uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
26. Educational Disclaimer
Courses are educational services. Unless a specific Course expressly and lawfully provides otherwise, neither the platform nor enrollment in a Course guarantees grades, examination success, employment, admission, or a professional qualification.
27. Limitations and Legal Rights
Any limitation of responsibility or remedy under these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your rights may vary depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform, services, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its Last Updated date. Material changes may be communicated through reasonable platform mechanisms where appropriate.
29. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the platform’s operation in Egypt, subject to any mandatory rights and rules that apply to the user or transaction. The appropriate forum and process for any dispute will be determined under applicable law.
30. Contact and Support
Questions about these Terms, payment disputes, or refund requests may be submitted through the platform’s official Contact or Support channel.
